Meet Dr. Ghuweir

Dr. Ghuweir earned his undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University before receiving his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Despite his deep roots in Chapel Hill, he remained a loyal Wolfpack fan, often spotted sporting NC State red amidst a sea of Carolina blue.

Dedicated to clinical excellence, Dr. Ghuweir completed an externship at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center and a prestigious Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the University of Texas Health at San Antonio.

Deeply committed to mentorship and community service, Dr. Ghuweir serves as a volunteer faculty member at the DYOR Refugee Clinic. In this role, he oversees UNC dental students, ensuring high-quality care for the local refugee community. Outside the office, he is an avid sports enthusiast—following college football, the NBA, and European soccer—and enjoys an active lifestyle outdoors with his wife and friends. Above all, Dr. Ghuweir values the trust of his patients and strives to provide compassionate, top-tier care with a personalized touch.
